The Linux Experiment

Well after a bit of messing around I’ve managed to get Linux installed on my PC alongside Windows Vista so I have the choice. I settled on the Mint distro in the end as I liked the GUI.

The following screen shot shows CQRLog running on my Linux PC.

There were a few trials and tribulation in getting Hamlib to work with my PC (most of it user error) but I got there. I must say the PC under Linux Mint is very fast and even makes web browsing a pleasure. Something that has slowed to a snails pace under Windoze.
